Brooks & Dunn Named Humanitarians Of The Year

(3/1/02, 7 a.m. ET) -- The Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) honored Brooks & Dunn with the artist humanitarian award during Country Radio Seminar on Wednesday (February 27) in Nashville.

"Each year Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. recognizes another of the many deserving country artists with its Artist Humanitarian Award," said CRB President Ed Salamon. "Kix [Brooks] and Ronnie [Dunn] have always found time and energy to help deserving people in need. Their contributions and personal involvement have both impacted many lives and set a great example for many of their fellow artists."

Previous CRB Artist Humanitarian Award winners include Billy Ray Cyrus, Reba McEntire, Charlie Daniels, Garth Brooks, Kenny Rogers, Vince Gill and Clint Black, and Collin Raye.
