"This is a real time of crisis for these folks," said group member Ronnie Dunn. "For those families of the people over there, this is one small way to let them know how much we appreciate the sacrifice they're making for all of us in this country. It's the same thing for the police and fire fighters... those people put their lives on the line every day to protect the rest of us. Having them come out seems like the least we can do."
Over six thousand people are expected to attend the show, which will take place at Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center.
This year's Neon Circus & Wild West Show will feature Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, newcomers Aaron Lines and Jeff Bates.
For the third straight year, Cledus T. Judd will act as the show's emcee.
