"If we're not writing, we're not really complete," said Kix Brooks. "That's an aspect of both who Ron [Dunn] and I are, and it doesn't feel right if you ignore that."
"Besides, when you're out on the road, singing all those songs every night, it really does kinda rev you up and make you wanna tear through some new songs," added Ronnie Dunn. "Nothing's so inspiring as songs you love--and for Kix and I, the last couple years on the Neon Circus have got us pretty fired up about making our next record, seeing what we can give those fans--turn 'em on, you know?"
While the award-winning duo is looking ahead to the next project, there are no studio dates scheduled as of yet for recording. "It's been so much fun, we've just been enjoying the moments rather than the masterplan," said Brooks.
