Never will,” Dunn said. “I think that's what keeps you striving to get better is always having to kind of look over your shoulder and feeling like there's something out there better that you can...that you can do. Trying to one-up everything that you do musically, performance-wise...year after year.”
”That's it,” Brooks added. “It has to be good enough, you know, and that much better, I think for both of us. We've got to make it better every year. That's kind of been...not a philosophy -- it's just the way we've operated since we got started.”
The Long Haul tour kicks off on Friday (May 12) in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The first leg of the tour features opening acts Sugarland and Jack Ingram.
