Charlotte Gainsbourg has undergone surgery in Paris following a small hemorrhage.

The singer, daughter of French singer Serge Gainsbourg, was involved in a minor water-skiing accident in the U.S. a few months ago, reports BBC News.

Gainsbourg sought medical attention after complaining of headaches.

Her agent Dominique Segall said: "Following a fall during while water-skiing several months ago, Charlotte Gainsbourg had a small operation today to repair a hemorrhage. The operation went very well. She is coming out of hospital tomorrow." Last year Gainsbourg released an album, 5:55, which featured collaborations with Air and Jarvis Cocker.
