Yahoo! Music, Oct 26, 2000 12:00 pm PDT
(10/26/00, 12 p.m. ET) - Rapper Common is releasing a remixed version of his single "Ghetto Heaven" featuring Macy Gray. The original track is from his gold-certified album Like Water For Chocolate. The remix was done by Amir Thompson, better known as ?uestlove of the Roots.

According to a label rep, the new version of the track will not be available as a commercial single. Instead, fans can get the remixed "Ghetto Heaven" by picking up a re-released version of Like Water For Chocolate coming later this year. A video for the new version is being shot this week and will also be available to video outlets in November.

Meanwhile, Common will appear on some of Macy Gray's concert dates.
