Culture Club To Spread Its 'Karma' With U.S. Tour

(8/24/00, 6 p.m. ET) - New Wave-era hit makers Culture Club will hit the road in the States for a five-week jaunt beginning on September 20 in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. The tour comes as frontman Boy George and his bandmates continue their attempt to rekindle the magic that surrounded them in the '80s with such hits as "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me," "Karma Chameleon," and "I'll Tumble 4 Ya." The British quartet regrouped two years ago for a performance on VH1's Storytellers, and a year later released the album Don't Mind If I Do in the United Kingdom. More tour dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
