Reissues Coming To America

Yahoo! Music, Jun 5, 2001 5:00 pm PDT
(6/5/01, 5 p.m. ET) -- The earliest releases in the career of David Gray will be made available in the United States on July 10 from Caroline Records. The reissues include Gray's first two albums, 1993's A Century Ends and 1994's Flesh, and a new compilation dubbed The EPs 92-94 that collects the British singer-songwriter's first three singles and their respective B-sides.

The EPs 92-94 amasses 10 songs overall, including the original version of the live favorite, "Wisdom," and captures Gray in a mostly acoustic vein. "Some of the things on here I think are the best representations of that early time 'cause I'm just standing there on my own," says Gray. "There were times later on, working with a full palette, when it all went awry."

The complete track listing for The EPs 92-94 is: "Birds Without Wings," "L's Song," "The Light," "Shine," "Brick Walls," "The Rice," "Wisdom," "Lovers," "4 a.m.," and "Coming Down."
