Gray tells LAUNCH that he's stunned by the album's success, and especially that of its hit single, "Babylon."
"It's been amazing," he says. "I am gobsmacked really at how the record's slowly gone from strength to strength. But 'Babylon' has sort of delivered in England and America. It seems to be the track on the record that has that sort of chorus or whatever that people just sort of home in on."
White Ladder's still going strong in the U.K. Earlier this month the effort claimed the peak position of Britain's album chart. The triumph came 66 weeks after its initial release in that country.
