The singer's latest stop on her world tour was supposed to be a Wednesday performance in Istanbul, but organizers have now called off the show out of respect for 12 soldiers who were killed in a Kurdish rebel attack.
Soccer club Fenerbahce, which had set up the performance in celebration of its 100th anniversary, said it would be inappropriate for the concert to take place in the atmosphere of mourning.
"We share our nation's grief," the club said in a statement on its Website. "We are canceling our 100th anniversary concert."
The singer is next slated to perform in Mumbai, India, on Saturday. Her tour wraps up Nov. 12 in Taiwan.
Last weekend, Knowles joined the millennium celebrations in Ethiopia, wowing the 5,000 fawning fans who turned out to watch her perform.
"I want to thank you," the R&B star told the crowd during her two-hour concert. "You have been one of the best audiences of my lifetime."
Fans who missed out on the Beyoncé tour experience this time around will soon be able to watch the chanteuse perform from the privacy of their own homes.
The singer will release The Beyoncé Experience Live! on DVD Nov. 20, featuring footage from her Sept. 2 Los Angeles concert, where the other members of Destiny's Child joined her onstage for a reunion.
