The only confirmed date is a February 4 show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, for which tickets go on sale October 8. Strait will be joined on the road by veteran country act Tracy Lawrence.
The tour comes in support of Strait's recent MCA Nashville album, "Somewhere Down in Texas," which debuted in July at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. It has sold 588,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The only pre-tour appearance on Strait's schedule will come November 15 as part of the Country Music Association awards in New York.
