The first single from Zoom is "Alright." Lynne told LAUNCH that he wasn't consulted about what to make the first single but that he is, in fact, all right with "Alright" as the single. "It's not my choice, really. That's [Epic Records parent company] Sony's choice," he said. "That's the one they chose, and that's the one they want to do. In my career, the record company says, 'Oh, we want this one as the single,' or whatever. And so I go, 'Yeah. Alright then,' 'cause I figure that they know better than I do, you know? "
Lynne plans to take ELO out on the road this summer, but no dates have been announced yet.
