Evanescence's Amy Lee No Fan Of Christina And Britney

(9/29/03, 4 p.m. ET) -- Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears may have legions of fans around the world, but Evanescence's Amy Lee isn't one of them.

The lead singer of the band that brought us "Bring Me Back To Life" told Stepping Out magazine, "Spears doesn't rock. She's a mechanical pop robot. Basically she's a puppet."

Lee's words for Aguilera are even harsher: "Britney isn't as bad as Christina when it comes to showing skin, Christina shows a lot more. They both seem to be competing with each other." Lee says she finds their antics tragic and sad.

Evanescence begins its European tour in Portugal on October 7. The group does not have any U.S. dates on its agenda at this time.
