Eve Compares 'XXX' To 'Barbershop'

(8/13/02, 10 a.m. ET) -- Eve said she had a much easier time filming her brief cameo role in the Vin Diesel/Samuel L. Jackson action flick XXX than her part in Barbershop.
When asked to compare the filming process for both projects, Eve said, "For XXX, I was there a day. Barbershop, I was in Chicago, freezing for two months. On set, every day. It's very monotonous."
In Barbershop, Eve portrays Terri, a female barber with man problems. The film, due to hit theaters on September 13, also stars Ice Cube and Cedric The Entertainer.
XXX made $46 million during its debut this past weekend, ranking as the top film. Eve's third album, Eve-olution, will be released on August 27.
