Eve Lands Gig As Voice Of Major Jones In New Video Game
Yahoo! Music, May 12, 2003 1:00 pm PDT(5/12/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- Rapper and actor Eve will be the voice of Major Jones in Ubi Soft Entertainment's new action-shooter video game XIII.
In XIII, Eve will lend her voice to Major Jones, a mysterious character who helps players unravel clues.
Eve wanted to be part of the game because of its stylish look. In addition, the rapper said, "XIII is a true original--the most stylish game I have ever seen. When I saw the game, I knew I wanted to be involved. My character, Jones, is a strong, sexy female with attitude--my fans will easily relate her to me."
The video game will be released for all platforms in the Fall of 2003.
In related news, Eve is slated to star in The Woodsman with Benjamin Bratt and Kevin Bacon. The film is slated to begin filming this month.
