Eve Says X-Rated Photo Is Fake

Music, Aug 12, 2003 7:00 am PDT(8/12/03, 7 a.m. ET) -- Rapper and actress Eve, who enjoyed a brief career as a stripper when she was a teenager, maintains that the x-rated photo that has surfaced on the internet is a fake. The picture depicts a woman--who resembles her--involved in a sex act with another woman.
Eve's representatives told New York's Daily News, "It's not a picture of her. She is upset that there's a false photo of her going around. The woman in the picture does not have Eve's two paw-print tattoos. She's had those forever."
Eve wasn't surprised when news broke that there may be nude photos of her circulating, "I used to strip, so it could be me, or it could not be me. This guy, whoever he is, has tried to blackmail us with the photo."
Eve is presently contemplating taking legal action against the websites that are currently running the photo which she insists is a fake.
In related news, Eve's new show on UPN debuts on Monday (September 15) at 8:30 p.m. ET. She will play the character of Shelly who is the star of the sitcom which will focus on the trials and tribulations of male/female relationships.
