Eve To Perform A Surprise Show In Philadelphia
Yahoo! Music, Sep 20, 2002 12:00 pm PDT(9/20/02, 12 p.m. ET) -- Eve will perform at noon on Monday (September 23) in Philadelphia, a representative for her booking agency confirmed Thursday (September 19).
At press time, the representative said the location was not being released. According to a LAUNCH source, the concert will be a surprise show held in Philadelphia's downtown area.
Eve, who hails from Philadelphia, recently told LAUNCH that her success in music and film exceeds anything she could have imagined. "You could never plan this," Eve said. "It's nothing you could plan, not the success that I've gotten. I never thought about it this way when I first started out."
Her third album, EVE-Olution, is Number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart, and has sold nearly 240,000 copies since its August release.
