Eve's 'Eve-olution' Out Now

(8/27/02, 7 a.m. ET) -- Eve's third solo album, Eve-olution, comes out Tuesday (August 27). The artist, who also serves as one of the executive producers for the set, said the work shows her artistic growth.
"Lyrically, musically, my ear is different, and you can hear it in the music," Eve said. "The tracks that I picked for this album are totally different than the first two. I think you can just hear a growth in me, personally."
The album's first single, "Gangsta Lovin'" featuring Alicia Keys, is Number Six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The record also includes the Irv Gotti-produced "Irresistible Chick"--an reinterpretation of Prince's "Irresistible Bitch"--as well as collaborations with Truth Hurts, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Lox members Jadakiss and Styles.
