Fantasia Barrino Is The New 'American Idol'

Fantasia Barrino beat out Diana DeGarmo last night to become the newest American Idol. The 19-year-old single mother from North Carolina received a majority of the 65 million votes cast by fans of the reality show. Host Ryan Seacrest told Access Hollywood that the two finalists were separated by just a little bit more than 1 percent of the vote.
