Flying Machines are the first band, discovered by Yahoo Music and signed to the new music enterprise partnership between Yahoo and Universal Television Networks (USA/NBC/Sci Fi/Bravo). USA, America's # 1 most watched and popular cable network (in 95 million homes), will feature the band's highly original music as the musical foundation for the new season launch of its # 1 rated show, PSYCH in the first quarter of 2008. This venture is a new model of exposing emerging music to the world using the vehicle of 'music' wrapped around original programming marketing and promotion, complete with chyrons, coordinated with worldwide exposure through the largest and most active music site, Yahoo, in conjunction with the band's record distributor. Conceived and architected by music and media producer Spencer Proffer, USA Network SVP Chris McCumber and senior executives at Yahoo Music, Flying Machines will be launched to the public via use of their music in all USA Psych promos, Yahoo LaunchCast Radio and a full length video that will be exhibited regularly on both USA and Yahoo for several months, while the band gets ready to go out on a national tour. Online, both USA and Yahoo will be cross linked via a Flying Machines micro site. Flying Machines are in the final stages of editing a hip new music video for their 1st single, "On A Whim", to be marketed and cross-promoted by Yahoo! & USA. .
