Foo Fighters inspire cyclist to Olympic gold

Sir Chris Hoy has revealed that he has listens to Foo Fighters to psych himself up before races.
The 2008 BBC Sports Personality of the Year after claiming three gold medals in the summer Olympics in Beijing that year, said that he has a playlist of songs to help him to get in a certain mental state.
"At the Athens Olympics (in 2004), I was on the edge of being too anxious before the race so I listened to Massive Attack’s 'Angel' to get in the right frame of mind," Hoy told Deadline Scotland.
He added: "But there are some faster tracks that I can turn to as well. I'm a big fan of the Foo Fighters and some of their tracks instantly bring you back to the stages of the race.
"If you are driving along in your car and you have got the radio on it can be quite weird. You suddenly feel your heart rate soar."
Hoy is an ambassador for London's 2012 Olympics.
