Ginuwine wrote the majority of the songs on The Senior and recently explained that he needs to be alone in the studio while working. "I'm the type of person, you give me the song, you get out the room,” Ginuwine said. “I do my lyrics, you come back and listen, then you do your thing. And that's how it goes down with me in the studio. That's just me as an artist, you know what I'm sayin'? I don't like nobody in there while I'm singing. I don't like nobody in there telling me what I should write or nothing like that. So even if you are the producer, you have to leave."
