Guns N' Roses delay album again

Yahoo! Music, Feb 23, 2007 1:00 pm PST
Guns N' Roses have put back their new album, Chinese Democracy, although the group remains confident of an imminent release.

The long-awaited record was recently scheduled to come out in March, a considerable number of years since being originally mooted.

However, this deadline now looks set to pass, although a posting on their official website suggests the album is definitely nearing completion.

"There is no official release date, as the band is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along."

The statement continues: "The good news is that all of the recording for the album has been completed. Drummer Frank Ferrer and guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal integrated themselves into the recordings seamlessly and will have their presence felt."

When released, Chinese Democracy will become the first album from Guns N' Roses since their 1993 covers album, The Spaghetti Incident.
