Concertgoers are encouraged to bring school supplies, which are in turn donated to schools in the community. The group started its school charity concerts in 2003, and has collected around $100,000 worth of supplies so far, it says.
The latest Homegrown Concert Series will begin July 3 in Lewiston, N.Y., and end Sept. 3 in Detroit.
Other stops include Atlanta; Norfolk, Va.; Glendale, Ariz.; Hilton Head, S.C.; Highland Park, Ill.; Charleston, S.C.; and Indianapolis.
The group's hits include "Let Her Cry," "Hold My Hand" and "Only Wanna Be with You."
