In a case currently being tried in Manchester, England, a British Airways flight attendant testified that Brown threatened to cut off her hands after she tried to apologize to the rock star, the BBC reports. Brown, whose solo debut Unfinished Monkey Business was released earlier this year, denies he made any such threats on board a flight from Paris in February.
According to her testimony, the flight attendant thought Brown was trying to gesture to her, when he was actually putting something into his pocket. "I realized I had made a mistake, and I offered him an apology with an open palm gesture. As I was about to continue, I heard him shout: 'Hey you,'" flight attendant Christine Cooper said in court. Cooper went on to testify that he rock star told her not to wave at him or he would cut off her hands.
When the plane's captain Martin Drake tried to calm the situation, Brown allegedly told him, "If she points at me again, I'll chop her hands off."
Upon the plane's arrival, Brown was arrested by police for the alleged threatening behavior.
