Irv Gotti, The Neptunes & Isaac Hayes Take Home Urban BMI Awards

(8/7/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- Irv Gotti, the Neptunes, and Isaac Hayes were among the winner's at BMI's 2003 Urban Awards which were held in Miami, Florida on Tuesday (August 5).

Murder Inc. Records CEO, Irv Gotti, won his second urban songwriter of the year award. The Neptunes were named BMI urban producers of the year, while Nelly's "Hot In Herre" was named song of the year.

Isaac Hayes, who was presented with the prestigious BMI Icon award, was honored with a special salute which included performances by Bilal, Floetry, and Anthony Hamilton.
