Isley Brothers Top Album Chart First Time In Nearly 30 Years

Music, May 15, 2003 7:00 am PDT(5/15/03, 7 a.m. ET) -- The Isley Brothers have scored their first Number One album in almost 30 years with Body Kiss, which debuted on top of the Billboard chart this week. The release sold more than 150,000 copies in the U.S. It's the Isley's first Number One on the chart since 1975's The Heat Is On.
The album's single, "What Would You Do?," is in the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
The Isley's 2001 album, Eternal, reintroduced the legendary act to a contemporary audience, with contributions from artists including R. Kelly and Jill Scott. The album reached Number Three on the chart, selling more than 1.2 million copies.
