Janet Jackson out of Hospital, Scraps More Shows
E! Online, Sep 30, 2008 11:00 am PDTJanet Jackson's field trip to a Montreal hospital was a brief one. Burns declined to elaborate on the singer's condition, citing patient confidentiality rules.
The R&B diva was rushed to Royal Victoria Hospital Monday after she "got suddenly ill during the sound check" prior to her scheduled concert in the city, her rep said.
According to Rebecca Burns, a spokeswoman for the hospital, the 42-year-old Grammy winner "was discharged after a few hours."
In a brief statement, the singer's publicist did not address her ailment but said Jackson "is recuperating."
Additionally, shows scheduled for Wednesday in Boston and Thursday in Philadelphia have been scrapped.
Jackson is expected to resume her Rock Witchu trek Saturday in Greensboro, N.C.
