Jay-Z has said that he wants to work with Oasis' Liam Gallagher.
The rapper explained that he first became interested in working with the singer after reading Snoop Dogg's recent admission to NME.COM that he would be interested in signing Noel Gallagher to Priority Records, of which he is creative director.
"I hear Snoop Dogg might be teaming up with Noel. If that's the case then I would love to work with Liam," Jay-Z told The Sun. "Their [Oasis'] music is tight and I think we could blend our styles well."
The rapper said that hooking up with Gallagher could yield similar results as his collaboration with Linkin Park, with whom he released the joint album 'Collision Course' in 2004, as well as playing live with them.
"When I teamed up with Linkin Park nobody expected that to work but we made a massive success of it," he said. "The same could happen with Liam."
He added that he wants the Oasis frontman to get in touch with him about the collaboration as he's confident the two could create "something brilliant" together. "When you have two artists like us in a room just throwing about ideas you come up with something brilliant fairly easily," he said. "I don't know what he is up to now but he can give me a call."
