(2/6/01, 12 p.m. ET) - Jon B's single "Don't Talk" recently moved up 10 spots on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts to Number 23. The single is the first release from Jon's third album, Pleasures You Like 2001, due March 20 on Edmonds Records Group/550 Music.

Jon previewed several songs from the new album at a private album listening party at the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills, California last week. He describes Pleasures You Like as an advanced version of his 1997 album Cool Relax. "I always say, this is kinda like the Rolls Royce version of the last album. This album is the next level up," he says. "I was able to do a lot more production on this album, and I did most of the production on the last album, but I think this production, I just got better, as a producer."

He adds: "I grew a lot in the last two years. I've been writing every single day since Cool Relax. So it's been a lot of songs that were written that were tentative for the album, that some of them made it, some of them didn't. But I'd say that every single song on this album is a thorough song, super expressive of the things that I've been through in the last two years."

Jon's previous albums, 1995's Bonafide and 1997's Cool Relax, have been certified gold and platinum, respectively.
