Local news outlets are awash with reports that the dreamy tween-friendly trio have corralled themselves a six-bedroom house in Vaquero, a gated community in the northern Texas town of Westlake.
Tarrant County records show that the Jonas sibs inked papers June 12 giving their mother, Denise Jonas, power of attorney to close the deal, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The band's rep has refused to comment on their new living arrangements, but even the rumors—not to mention the recent Joe/Nick/Kevin sightings in the area—are generating plenty of excitement.
"I didn't even know who the Jonas Brothers were or what kind of music they played," pro golfer Brian Watts, who lives down the street, told the Morning News. "But my wife and kids were enthralled. I've seen [the Jonases] from a distance, and they seem like down-to-earth kids. Word spreads fast."
Not that the Jonas Brothers have had much time to enjoy their new frat house yet.
The New Jersey-bred boys have been on their Burning Love tour all month and will be stopping tomorrow in Indianapolis, followed by shows in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Ohio...Let's just say they won't be returning to Texas for awhile.
After their schedule cools down Sept. 5, it'll heat right back up again two days later, when the Jonas Brothers are going to premiere the second single from their upcoming album, A Little Bit Longer, at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Hollywood.
Also on their itinerary now is an Oct. 12 appearance in Phoenix, where they're set to headline Kristi Yamaguchi's annual Friends and Family Ice Show at US Airways Arena, benefiting the Olympic gold medalist's Always Dream Foundation. The event will air on NBC at a later date.
