The member of the successful Hot Boys rap group is being charged with aggravated battery with a bottle, battery on a law enforcement officer, two counts of disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest without violence. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 18.
According to a police report, two witnesses claimed to have seen Juvenile assault Jackson Saint Ange, 28, with a bottle of Moet when the two had a heated exchange outside of the Improv Comedy Club in Miami's Coconut Grove section. Ange was knocked unconscious and taken to the Mercy Hospital to be treated for serious head injuries.
When officers working an off-duty job at the Improv Comedy Club responded to the brawl, they discovered Juvenile and approximately 20 others running down an escalator. As the officers attempted to diffuse several other fights that had broken out, Juvenile stopped an officer from arresting an associate, according to a police report.
"[Juvenile] then rushed Sgt. Timothy Fell and again yelled, 'Hey, hey. Take me to jail, that's my boy.' [Juvenile] then violently shoved Sgt. Fell away from the subject, allowing him to escape into the crowd," said a report filed by Miami City Police Officer Troy English.
Juvenile then allegedly fled the scene and was later arrested after inciting numerous other fights.
Juvenile has released several albums on Universal/Cash Money Records, including the multiplatinum 400 Degreez and Tha G-Code.
A spokesperson for Juvenile said there is no comment at this time.
