(3/13/01, 10 a.m. ET) -- Juvenile, the original Cash Money Millionaire, is reportedly set to break camp. Sources say that Juvenile is close to signing a multimillion dollar deal with Sony for his newly founded U.T.P. Records. Juvenile would be the first artist released as part of the new U.T.P. deal, followed by Big Skip, an up-and-coming artist.
Juvenile was scheduled to release his next album, Project English, on Cash Money Records in February, but the album has been pushed back and no new release date has been set. Juvenile's 1998 release, 400 Degreez, has sold more than 4 million copies and his 1999 follow-up, Tha G Code, is certified platinum.
Calls to Universal Records, which distributes Cash Money Records, were unreturned at press time.
