During expert testimony, a University Of New Orleans professor said the songs were identical while a Tulane University musicologist said, aside from the titles, the songs were totally different. By the end of the five-day trial, the jury ruled against Jubilee and his Black Talk Inc. label, deciding that Juvenile did not rip off the song.
Jubilee is considering whether to file an appeal.
Juvenile's "Back That Azz Up" was featured on the rapper's 1998 multi-platinum release, 400 Degreez.
Juvenile's real name is Terius Gray; Jubilee's is Jerome Temple.
