Juvenile Reunites With Cash Money Records
Yahoo! Music, Apr 4, 2003 1:00 pm PST(4/4/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- New Orleans-based rapper Juvenile has resolved his differences with Cash Money Records, according to published reports. The rapper broke camp with the label in 2001 due to differences with Cash Money co-CEOs Ronald "Slim" Williams and Bryan "Baby" Williams.
Juvenile's manager, Peter Seitz, told Allhiphop.com, "Juvenile and Cash Money have settled their differences they had, and Juve is currently working on an album which will be released by Cash Money later this year."
Unlike Cash Money defectors B.G. and Turk, Juvenile was never released from his label contract, and last November Cash Money's Baby Williams shared that he wanted the rapper back in the fold. "I'ma get him back around here," Williams said. "I got love. Juvie was a hard worker, dog."
In related news, Let 'Em Burn, the latest album from the Hot Boys (Juvenile, Turk, Lil' Wayne, and B.G.), debuted at Number 14 on the Billboard 200 album charts after selling more than 63,000 copies in its first week.
