He complained several times that Los Angeles radio stations have not been supporting his latest album, Didn't See Me Coming, currently Number 31 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. "They ain't playing my stuff like they used to," Sweat said early in the show. "Y'all need to call the stations. You can see that I can still sell it out."
Sweat even announced that he wasn't given credit for co-writing Johnny Kemp's 1998 top 10 hit "Just Got Paid" and Guy's top 1991 top five R&B ballad "Let's Chill," both produced by Teddy Riley. Before performing "Just Got Paid," Sweat said, "I'm going to do a couple songs y'all didn't think I had anything to do with."
The show was also heightened by an appearance from Gerald Levert, one of Sweat's partners in the group LSG. Though a spokesperson for Levert originally said he would not perform due to illness, Levert did join Sweat on stage to perform LSG's hit "My Body." Sweat also brought his protégé group Silk on stage to perform its 1993 hit "Freak Me."
