Twilight shot up 11 spots to No. 3 with 74,000 in sales—a whopping 250 percent sales increase—trailing only Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted (No. 1; 90,000) and U2's No Line on the Horizon (No. 2; 76,000), per Nielsen SoundScan.
The soundtrack has sold more than 1.5 million copies to date. The Twilight movie DVD sold 3 million copies its first day of release.
Peach State rapper Gorilla Zoe scored the week's top debut with his second solo effort, Don't Feed Da Animals, selling 31,000 at No. 8. Twiztid, a Motor City rap duo on the Insane Clown Posse's record label, narrowly missed the Top 10, selling 23,000 copies of W.I.C.K.E.D. at No. 11.
Other notable debuts include The Decemberists' The Hazards of Love at No. 14, Static-X's Cult of Static at No. 16 and I Told You So: The Ultimate Hits of Randy Travis at No. 21.
Overall, sales were down 7 percent from last week and 31 percent compared to the same week in 2008.
