Kid Rock To Join Muzik Mafia For Nashville Show
Yahoo! Music, May 9, 2005 11:00 am PDTKid Rock will be in Nashville Tuesday (May 10) night to join good friends and fellow musicians John Rich and Big Kenny, a.k.a. Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, and Cowboy Troy, along with the other regular members of the Muzik Mafia, for a show at the Cannery Ballroom. The Muzik Mafia are using the event as a fundraiser for the Nashville Songwriters Association International, according to the Tennessean.
News of Kid Rock's appearance was confirmed by Rich, who told the newspaper, ''I'm sure it's gonna be a wild time. You can't have that many thoroughbreds in the stable without something happening.''
Last time Kid Rock and Rich were together in Nashville, the rocker/rapper was arrested for allegedly punching a strip club DJ in the face and charged with misdemeanor assault. A court date is set for July.
