Lenny Kravitz's Love Revolution will proceed as soon as he lets his health rule.

The retro rocker was hospitalized in Miami on Monday with a severe case of bronchitis, his publicist has announced, forcing him to temporarily scrap an upcoming promotional tour in Europe for his last disc, It Is Time for a Love Revolution.

Kravitz, 43, initially fell ill late last month with the flu and a series of severe respiratory tract infections. After his condition worsened over the weekend, however, he decided to seek treatment in the emergency room at Miami's Mount Sinai Hospital.

"Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital," the singer's rep said in a statement.

As a result, the brief Euro jaunt, set to launch this week and run through the end of March, will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

"I would like to apologize to my fans in Europe," said Kravitz. "I am extremely disappointed that I am not able to come to Europe to see everyone and also perform. Unfortunately, I need to take this time to rest and get healthy and so I was forced to make this decision."

No word on his current condition or how long he'll remain in sick bay.  But the tour-canceling bug is definitely going around.

Dolly Parton is also apologizing profusely for putting off a U.S. tour in support of her new album, Backwoods Barbie, because of—wait for it—her boobs.

"I know I have been breaking my neck and bending over backwards trying to get my new Backwoods Barbie CD and world tour together, but I didn't mean to hurt myself doing it! But hey, you try wagging these puppies around a while and see if you don't have back problems," the 62-year-old TMI-happy warbler said.

"Seriously though, the doctors said I will be good as new in a few weeks, and I can't wait to get back out there."

The Backwoods Barbie tour, which was supposed to get rolling in February, will now likely kick off in April before heading over to Europe this summer.

The record, a mix of Dolly originals with a few choice covers (Smokey Robinson's "The Tracks of My Tears" and the Fine Young Cannibals' "She Drives Me Crazy") hits stores Feb. 26 via Parton's own Dolly Records.
