Queen Latifah, Erick Sermon, Da Brat, And Others 'Ride Wit' MC Lyte

Music, Oct 8, 2002 1:00 pm PDT(10/8/02, 1 p.m. ET) -- Queen Latifah, Erick Sermon, and Da Brat; actresses Elise Neal, Tichina Arnold, and Kyla Pratt; and others showed their support for MC Lyte Sunday (October 6) when they stopped by the video shoot in downtown Los Angeles for the veteran female MC's new song "Ride Wit Me."
The song produced by Mad Funk is the first release from Lyte's album, Welcome Back Block Party!!!, that is scheduled to be issued on January 21.
Planet Asia, Money B, comedian DeRay, Isaiah Washington, Red Grant, Big Chan, and Los Angeles on-air personalities Felli Fel and K-Sly also attended the shoot.
The Brooklyn, New York-bred Lyte released her debut, Lyte As A Rock, in 1988, and has since released five subsequent albums. Lyte, who is also an actress, has also appeared on Moesha, In The House, New York Undercover, The District, and stars in the feature film Civil Brand.
