Nelly And Nike To Release Limited Edition Sneaker
Yahoo! Music, May 2, 2003 1:00 pm PDT(5/2/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- Grammy award-winning rapper Nelly has teamed up with Nike to release a limited-edition sneaker called the new "Air Derrty" on June 13.
The limited-edition sneaker will be available at Niketown stores in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. The sneaker will also be available at Squad 1's in Nelly's hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
Only one thousand pairs of the sneakers will be manufactured and the proceeds from the sales will go to 4Sho4Kids, Nelly's non-profit foundation.
4Sho4Kids is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children born with developmental disabilities. The organization provides educational classes and health care resources in St. Louis.
