Gwen Stefani Working On Her Clothing Line

Music, Mar 15, 2004 5:00 pm PSTGwen Stefani is not only writing songs for her upcoming solo album, she's also spending time designing clothes and accessories for L.A.M.B., her very own fashion line. In a recent posting on No Doubt's web site (nodoubt.com) Stefani said, "It is an interesting process because by the time the clothes come out they seem almost old to me. I want to go and see them in the stores. I am always most excited about whatever I am working on at the moment. I am currently working on Spring 2005." The 34-year-old singer isn't an expert at creating clothing styles, however. She admits, "It is still at the baby stage and I am still learning about design."
Stefani is also designing another line of LeSportsac bags, and will make her film debut in the The Aviator, which opens nationwide in November.
Stefani will kick off a tour with No Doubt on June 1 in Noblesville, Indiana.
The first single from her debut solo album is due out this summer.
