(1/12/01, 5 p.m. ET) - 'N Sync will be featured in a 30-second "Door To Door" commercial for Anheuser-Busch during the television broadcast of Super Bowl XXXV on January 28. The spot is part of the company's commitment to the prevention of underage drinking, and it features members of the pop group going door-to-door thanking parents for talking to their kids about drinking. The spot notes that, despite the popularity of groups such as 'N Sync, parents have the greatest influence on their children, especially when it comes to important decisions about whether or not to drink.
Francine Katz, Anheuser-Busch vice president of consumer affairs, said in a statement: "This commercial really helps highlight the fact that every parent has a powerful role to play in fighting underage drinking."
'N Sync will also perform in the Super Bowl halftime show, as will Aerosmith. Super Bowl XXXV will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
