Lance Bass On Michael Jackson's 'Invincible'

Yahoo! Music, Jul 13, 2001 12:00 pm PDT
(7/13/01, 12 p.m. ET) -- *NSYNC's new album Celebrity comes out July 24, but it's not the only album release that group member Lance Bass is looking forward to. Bass told LAUNCH that he's excited that later this year Michael Jackson will unveil Invincible, his first album in more than five years. "I've heard, like, three tracks and it's amazing," Bass exclaimed.

Jackson's influence on *NSYNC's sound will be evident to fans when they hear all of the tracks on Celebrity, reports Bass, who has nothing but praise for the legendary pop singer. "I mean, he's a great guy, and he's one of our hugest influences, as you can tell totally on this album--the influence from him. I think he's great and I think this next album he's going to release is going to be probably the biggest album in the history of the world," he said.

*NSYNC will perform alongside Jackson in September at the New York City concert gala dubbed Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration, The Solo Years. *NSYNC's upcoming television appearances include stops at ABC's Live! With Regis And Kelly today (July 13), ABC's The View (July 23), NBC's The Tonight Show With Jay Leno (July 23), and NBC's Today (August 20).
