The rapper will perform at the opening of the ballet's new season between April 10-13, 2008.
Although only a few details are forthcoming, it is understood that Boi will collaborate with choreographer Lauri Stallings and performers from Purple Ribbon Entertainment.
Atlanta Ballet has previously staged works with pop performers before, and in 2001 the company collaborated with the Indigo Girls on Shed Your Skin.
