Pays New Jersey OzzFest Clean-Up

Yahoo! Music, Aug 17, 2001 6:00 pm PDT
(8/17/01, 6 p.m. ET) -- Papa Roach has been sent a bill by the New Jersey venue PNC Bank Arts Center for damages caused to the venue during its OzzFest set on August 11. The band allegedly encouraged fans in the lawn seats to rip out sod and throw it, but mud and sod were flying prior to the band hitting the stage.

A spokesperson at the PNC corporate communications center said that the damage would be covered under a "working agreement with the artist." Papa Roach's publicist told LAUNCH the band had to pay money for extra clean-up, security, and to re-sod the lawn.
