But Horton's fears were allayed on the tour's opening night in ChristChurch, New Zealand last weekend. "We had a good show," Horton writes. "For any RHCP fans that were at ChristChurch, thanks for treating us well. We hope you enjoyed the set."
In turn, the ChristChurch show and one the next night in Auckland also reconfirmed Papa Roach's appreciation for the headliners. "The Chili Peppers were amazing as usual," Horton writes. "We all watched their show in awe. I know they have been together as they are now for 15 years, but damn."
The tour traveled to Brisbane, Australia on Tuesday (November 26). More shows featuring the two bands are scheduled Down Under through December 3.
Papa Roach is touring behind its second album, Lovehatetragedy. The Red Hot Peppers are support their latest, By The Way.
