Munches To Music With Super Furry Animals

Yahoo! Music, Apr 19, 2001 1:00 pm PDT
(4/19/01, 1 p.m. ET) --Veggie-lover Paul McCartney can be heard crunching on a piece of celery on a new recording by Welsh pop group Super Furry Animals. McCartney chews in rhythm to "Receptacle For The Respectable" on the group's upcoming album, Rings Around The World. This is not McCartney's first foray into munching to music--in 1967, he appeared on the Beach Boys' track "Vegetables," chomping to the beat.

Super Furry Animals have worked with the former Beatle before. Last year, the band collaborated with him on the track "Free Now," which appeared on McCartney's Grammy-nominated album Liverpool Sound Collage.
