(8/20/01, 12 p.m. ET) -- Pharoahe Monch has recorded the song "Madden 2002" which will be featured on the latest version of the popular video game Madden NFL 2002, which is scheduled for a November release.
The 2002 version of the game includes several new features that allow players to participate in an enhanced training mode and two-minute drill. Additionally, players can choose tournament play, custom leagues, and use the new Create-A-Team option.
In 1999, Pharoahe Monch, a founding member of underground hip-hop group Organized Konfusion, released his debut Internal Affairs, which included the Number Three Hot Rap Single "Simon Says." "Simon Says" features a sample from "Godzilla's Theme," which prompted owners Toho Co. and Toho Music Corporation to file a suit against the rapper in May.
