The performance, which is being touted as the band's only U.K. festival appearance for 2008, will anchor a new run of dates from the re-formed rock trio. The itinerary starts January 17 in Wellington, New Zealand, and runs through June 28 in Leipzig, Germany.
The Police are touring in Mexico and will proceed to Argentina, Chile and Brazil in the coming days. A live DVD chronicling the reunion tour, which recently was named the top-grossing and top ticket-selling outing at the Billboard Touring Awards, is expected to be released in the spring via Interscope.
